Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Puhekieli (“the app”), provided by Native Tongue LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Puhekieli on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.

Purchases and subscriptions

Puhekieli is free to start. Optional paid plans are available:

  • Pro — a subscription billed monthly through the App Store.
  • Lifetime — a one-time purchase through the App Store.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract its source code, except to the extent the law expressly permits;
  • use the app to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • interfere with or disrupt the app or the systems that run it.

Translations and accuracy

Puhekieli is a learning tool. Automated translations, pronunciations, and grammar breakdowns can contain mistakes and may not fit every context. Please do not rely on the app for high-stakes, legal, medical, or safety-critical translation, and always use your own judgement.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its content (other than the text you enter) are owned by Native Tongue LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Native Tongue LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. When we change the Terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Native Tongue LLC’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the law where you live.
