Privacy Policy

Puhekieli (“the app”) is made by Native Tongue LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what information the app handles and how we treat it. We built Puhekieli to be privacy-first: it works without an account, and we keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the app.

Information we handle

You can use Puhekieli without creating an account or giving us your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

Content you enter

When you translate text or generate speech, the app processes the words you enter to produce translations, pronunciations, and word-by-word breakdowns. We use this content only to give you the result you asked for. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your saved phrases

Phrases you save, along with your quiz progress and settings, are stored on your device so you can revisit them. This content stays under your control.

Analytics and tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers in Puhekieli. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Puhekieli offers optional paid plans (Pro and Lifetime). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment-card details — Apple handles billing under Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.

Service providers

We keep third-party data sharing to a minimum. App distribution and purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store, governed by Apple’s terms. We do not share the content you enter with advertisers or other third parties for their own purposes.

Children’s privacy

Puhekieli is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Security

Because the app collects so little, there is very little for anyone to expose. Content you create is stored on your device and protected by your device’s own security.

Your choices

You can delete your saved phrases and reset your data from within the app at any time. If you have questions about your privacy or want to make a request, email us at [email protected].

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. We will highlight significant changes in the app or on this site.
